Autonomous driving relies on sensors, with the cooperation of computing platforms and intelligent body electronic control systems, automatic driving is achieved. It is difficult to realize safe auto-driving only relies on visual monitoring since visible light and the difficulty of the algorithm are unavoidable restrictions, moreover, the recognition error rate is relatively high leads to accidents as well, exposing the existing drawbacks of the visual tech route. At the predetermined distance, depending on the 3D information of cars which is selected by Benewake LiDAR, the analysis of Point Cloud information is more precise. Then, the autonomous driving system can recognize the safety status, send signals to guide the driving system in making judgments. Vehicles can make decisions of driving, lane changing, deceleration, and braking based on the detected information.
