Application background

At present, most wharves / ports are lack of corresponding active monitoring and early warning measures, which may cause damage to ships or wharf approach bridges, threaten people's lives and cause environmental pollution. Establishment of defense area
In the first step, the Benewake Horn-X2 LiDAR (hereinafter referred to as Horn-X2) is used to set up the defense area of the waters to be monitored.

Horn-X2 has a range of up to 500 meters, which is suitable for low visibility and no ambient light environment. At the same time, Horn-X2 has a wide field of view, high-definition density point cloud can accurately restore the three-dimensional image information of navigation / River, ships and bridges, so as to accurately set the defense area.

For example, for concave wharf, a 500m long and 500m deep anti-collision area can be set up. When the unloading ship is entering or leaving the port, the status information (distance, size, speed and direction) of the ship's navigation can be monitored in real time, and the possibility of its bumping into the approach bridge and the ship can be predicted.

Trigger alarm
In the second step, Horn-X2 gives an alarm to the ships in the defense area according to the alarm logic.
